Trefonen Village
Situated on the old Welsh border of Offa's Dyke and just three miles SW from the market town of Oswestry, Trefonen is a rural community of some 800 people.
Trefonen is fortunate to enjoy all the major facilities a small community needs including a recently extended and improved village pub with restaurant called the Barley Mow, All Saints' Church, a Village Shop and Post Office, a Primary School, a Village Hall and a large well equipped Playing Field
The nearby small villages of Treflach and Nantmawr also form part of our community. All three settlements are linked by the long distance Offa's Dyke Path, much frequented by walkers and tourists. All three villages have Bed and Breakfast and Self Catering facilities available making it an excellent base for a visit to the Shopshire and Welsh countryside.
