What's on Now - 2021

Picture
CPRE Avon and Bristol have teamed up with the amazing educator Jo Richardson at Space Detectives to bring you a brilliant programme of free events which will take place throughout Star Count (6-14 February).
There are four online events for children and families (suitable for primary-aged kids) and four for adults and older children. And the events are open to everyone, wherever you live.

Sid the sad snake

You'll see his head in the Wild Wood on the village green but he lacks a lovely, bright, long body. Painting a rock, wrapping a log in ribbon or twine, even filling a bottle with bright objects turns out to be a great lockdown activity and Ann Hindley has even left some suitable pebbles and logs outside her house to help you!
Gill Buckeridge has a new tin of varnish so if the old one at the back of your garage has gone as solid, she will be happy to coat any painted rocks left on her doorstep and link them on to Sid.

If you walk round the village you will find animals and birds in garden gateways and in windows.
