The Old Mill B&B
Is a mile north of Trefonen, right on the Offa’s Dyke Long Distance Path at the southern end of Candy Woods. There are three cosy bedrooms, the two doubles have en-suite showers and the twin room has exclusive use of a separate bathroom. The large, comfortable guests’ sitting room has a wood burner for cooler evenings, and doors out to the terrace for warmer ones. We cater to most dietary requirements and, as well as breakfast, can also provide an evening meal and a packed lunch if requested in advance. We have an alcohol licence, and stock a small range of wines and local beers and spirits. There is also a small, simple campsite where campers have access to a room and can help themselves to hot drinks, and we can do breakfast butties and baked potatoes in the evening.
