The Mow, pronounced locally to rhyme with cow, is a central community hub.  It has a good number of regulars in both bars who offer a warm welcome to visitors and friends alike.  Pool and darts are played regularly in one bar where key sports events can also be watched on the TV. Next door cocktails, a selection of local beers can be enjoyed in the cosy surroundings, where images of the pub and village in days gone by can be seen.  Adjoining this lounge bar is a small dining area which supplements the large restaurant to the rear of the pub.  This is also used for special events and can be hired for private functions.
