Village Amenities.

Trefonen as a rural community is very fortunate to enjoy excellent facilities.  The Village Shop, open every day, is at the heart of the village, as is the Barley Mow pub, where the two bars and bistro style restaurant are well patronised by locals.  The Village Hall is a modern and well equipped building and hosts many activities.  Meanwhile the Queen Elizabeth II Jubilee Field, adjoining the Hall, provides not only a pitch but also a play area, trim trail, picnic opportunities, a heritage site and much more.  The village also has a well attended Anglican church and a primary school.
