2021 Trefonen WIWelcome to Trefonen WI. This year our meetings have all taken place via Zoom. We’ve tried to keep to our usual format and look forward to meeting in person as soon as we’re allowed to! Usually our monthly meetings. Our monthly meetings take place in the Trefonen Village Hall on the 1st Thursday of the month at 7.00 pm when we grab a cup of tea or coffee and a quick chat before sitting down to the business part of the meeting. Business takes us approximately 30 minutes to get through, mainly because our two wonderful Secretaries, Victoria Gemmell and Gill Buckeridge, send around a copy of the Shropshire WI County Newsletter by email in advance of the meeting and any other announcements from Shropshire or the National Federation of the Women’s Institutes, which leaves us more time to discuss our own local matters at the meeting. Meeting minutes are also circulated to members by email.
