Situated in the centre of the village of Trefonen is the Barley Mow,  a rustic, warm and family friendly pub dating back to 1760. It sits  uniquely on the Offa's Dyke footpath and inside a warm welcome awaits locals and visitors alike from Andrew (Bones) and Hayley Jones and their team. The pub offers a wide range of real ales, lagers, ciders, wines, spirits and soft drinks. Recently refurbished, the pub boasts a range of facilities including a comfy lounge with log burning fire, a  traditional bar with pool table, darts board and TV's covering all sports. The pub also offers dining in both its cosy restaurant (see next page for service times and menus) adjoining the lounge and its larger rear restaurant that also doubles as a function room. (50+seats). Outside there is plenty of seating with picnic tables, a small beer garden, covered patio area along with ample parking.
