The Barley Mow
Situated in the centre of the village of Trefonen is the Barley Mow a cosy, rustic pub dating back to 1760 which sits uniquely on the Offa's Dyke where inside Gaynor and Paul are ready with a warm and friendly welcome for locals and visitors alike. The pub offers a wide range of real ales, lagers, ciders, wines, spirits and soft drinks and boasts a range of facilities including a comfy lounge with log burning fire, an adjacent cosy dining area, a larger restaurant to the rear that also doubles as a function room, available for hire with seating for 50+, a traditional bar area with pool table, dart board and TV. Free Wi Fi is also available throughout the pub. Step outside and there is plenty of seating with picnic tables, a small beer garden, a covered patio area. There is also a large car parking area at the front of the pub. The pub has recently extended its opening hours and food service hours which can be seen below along with the new menus on the next page.
